Home-made granola

Good morning,

Why making your granola home-made? Because you will know exactly what's in it, no additives, preservatives, sugar, sweeteners, etc. Healthier, you can adjust the taste to your preference, add more or less of anything to it. It van be nut free, grain free, gluten free whatever is your dietary preference.

Ingredients: all interchangeable

2 cups oats

1 cup puffed quinoa

pumpkin seeds

sesame seeds

coconut flakes

raisins

chia seeds

plant based yoghurt

fruits of choice

You can toast the ingredients in the oven, but keep a close eye on it, and stir every 5 minutes or it will get burnt in no time. I prefer prepping it in a pan over the stovetop, low heat to see what is happening. First add the oats and pumpkin seeds and nuts, if you have, stir them continuously until starts browning. Then add the sesame seeds and coconut flakes as it takes like no time to get brown. When all your ingredients are golden, transfer the mixture to a bowl or glass jar and let it cool completely. Add the chia seeds and dried fruits before storing.

If you feel fancy to try something new, you can make a SALTY granola mix and maybe cook it a bit with plant based milk and grated zucchini in the morning.

Which one do you fancy?

Hope you'll prep and enjoy this meal, if you make it and post a picture of it don't forget to tag me so I can see your creations. If you have any idea what to add, than I'd be happy to hear it.
